Baby Call Duck Walking with its tail tucked under

I have been faithfully giving the baby the vitamins orally and in the water and unfortunately have not seen much improvement I even kept her in one night over the weekend bc the temperature dropped and I wanted to monitor how well she was eating and drinking. She is a pretty substantial size smaller than her 3 siblings. I'm not sure what else I can do...? She doesnt seem to be bothered by it, shes eating, drinking, and stays with her mommy and siblings.

I love the names!!! You have beautiful ducks!
Thank you! I was actually looking into selling a few just because my in laws are having construction dont at their house so I'm housing their 3 snowy call ducks as well. But people dont seem to understand their worth in value and as a pet. So I havent proceeded forward with selling. I refuse to let them just go to anyone.

It may just be a birth defect or just her. As long as she is eating and drinking and acting like a healthy duckling then just enjoy her. All duckling need extra niacin till at least 10-12 weeks old chick starter does not have near enough for growing ducklings.

She did enjoy snuggling under my hoody, but I know keeping her away from her momma and siblings for too long can become stressful.

Oh that's good to know! She is the first and only that has been a little "different." But she doesnt seem to be bothered by it. I was just worried about her size. Her feathers are coming in normally, and she has quite the personality. She cant keep right up with her siblings due to her legs but she does pretty good. I cant upload a video bc it's to large, but when she walks its almost as if she cant bend her legs. She walks stiff legged if that makes sense.

She swims perfectly fine from what I have seen and I put her in the tub to watch that as well. Kind of bows her legs out to swim but doesnt seem to effect her. And yes she prefers to be squatted down and lays normally in my hands/arms. I did notice she struggles to keep her feet under her on flat surfaces though such as my tile floor. Let me see if I got a picture of that the other night.
