My self just rescued a pekin with a crest...Little Duckling but I'm not keeping it...Not my favourite due to the issues...Very cute though...

Sounds like they're from mixed color flock, you could get just about any colors from them depending on background colors in their parentage... only way to see if those 2 are correct for Snowy is to wait til they grow out...

Yes, there are crested Calls... personally, I won't breed crested due to the added issues crested *could cause*, but they're adorable...

What issues do they have? the crested was from my other male and female. She is black with a white chest and her face speckled with white. The daddy is a male mallard looking call. He is a sweetie. Anyway he was the only crested baby out of that bunch. I don't want anymore hatchings. I have a heck of a time finding good homes for them.

Crested is a result of a hole in the skull and tissue filling the hole... breeding crested to crested results in many that never hatch, plus larger crests can have neurological issues... it's just not something i wish to deal with... they are incredibly cute, though!
