So Ive read everything and tried everything and cant for the life of me figure this out.

We have a silver campine chick we bought on thursday 5/17 the first day she was fine, acting normal, then friday she began to act listless and dose not move. We lowerd the temp on the brooder and hand fed her water and chick feed all weekend. She still acts the same. I thought maybe it was spraddle leg, because she has a hard time standing, but that dose not seem to be it, the brase just trips her more. She can stand a little, and does drink and eat by herself but she dosent move hardly at all. Her wing feathers seem a little sparce compared to our bantam, and I never saw any of the other two chicks pick them out, nor did I see any feathers on the brooder floor. We have seprated her form the other chicks as of sunday...but she does not seem much better. Any ideas? My husband and I are out of things to try.

So she's tore the brace made of vettape off her feet, then my husband found her in her waterbowl just laying there we got her out and dried her, she is still the same. We put rocks in her bowl so She can't do that again. She still barly moves. None of her poops have been like those of the virus Cocci so i don't think it's that.

She seems more active today, and is standing better. Maybe she just needed isolation from her bratty sisters. She cries at night though so Im eager for her to recover so I can place her back with the others, so she wont be lonley.

Well she passed away. Every thread I read prepared me for this...but I was not ready. I hope anyone reading this knows sometimes you can't help. Only can do what you can to make them better.

I was looking on here for some help too..Sometimes you just don't know what's wrong. Mine was listless and could barely stand. So I got some save a chick electrolytes and mixed it up concentrated added some organic honey and put it in a dropper. I kept putting drops at the end of her beak and she swallowed it. I went back after an hour and did the same..I noticed her getting more active i think it was the honey that gave her temporary boost..I took the yoke out of a hard boiled egg and chopped it up and she pigged down on it..I couldn't believe it..Like a new chick in less than 6 hours..I thought she was going to die 6 hours ago
