Baby Chick and not prepared!

Hi Roxy,

I live in Upland and have chickens as well. My neighbors love my chickens! Do you know what kind of chicks you have? I would love to help you get the ordinances changed. We love our little feathered friends here and don't want to have to ever get rid of them!!!!!!!!

Well, we don't have the chick anymore. After hearing so often that chicks should be raised with at least one other companion, I decided it would be better to return the chick with its brotehrs and sisters rather than let it grow up socially deprived. However, I would still love to raise a two baby chicks, maybe three, and not have to worry about them nor return them.
I'm not sure how exactly to go about changing the ordinances, but I heard from someone who lives here that they sent lots of letters to the city. I'm guessing they meant the City Hall, so this summer that's how I'll use up our stamps.
