baby chick behaviour

Hi, I have a baby chick about 2 weeks old. It rushes at me when i approach the fish tank I keep it in, and rushes at my hand when I put it in the tank and circles it. I am wondering why it is behaving this way.

Is the chick by itself? If so it probably thinks your mommy! one of th joys of raising chicks!
