These are 2 of my weirdos. Buckeye roo got a hold of my silkie and these guys are the result.

Meet Jacki/Jackie - He/she is a brand-newly-hatched Nankin Bantam chick. We think "she," based on wing feathers ... fingers crossed! Jacki is now about a week old. Nankin Bantams are currently on The Livestock Conservancy's list of Critically Endangered Species. We think Jacki's a pretty sweet chick!

They're getting hard to find anywhere! Livestock Conservancy estimates that there are less than 1,000 breeding birds left in the world, so if you do find them in Canada, snatch them up!
