Baby chick curling feathers?! Vitamin deficiency?

I have a Lavendar Cuckoo Orpington chick, 3 weeks old, about a week ago I thought she hurt her leg so I separated her from the other 12 chicks. She is in with 4 other smaller chicks and they’re all very nice to each other for now. My concern is she still has the injured, or so I think injured leg. Lays down a lot, her feathers are not growing as fast as the other chicks same age/breed and the ones that are growing are starting to curl. She also isn’t as big as her siblings (the ones she hatched with but is separated from) anyone have tips or info on this? I was thinking vitamins?? Or is she just going to pass eventually? :(

Photos? Chick, poop....
If you are using a heat lamp, please turn that off and get photos in a natural light.

Try giving vitamins with B2(Riboflavin) to see if that helps. Poultry Cell would be a good choice.

No way to know if she's going to pass. Some chicks are runty and eventually catch up, some are failure to thrive. All you can do is ensure she's eating/drinking and see how it goes.

Ah thanks! I turned off the lamp today. It’s warm enough here and she’s with 4 others so they can snuggle. I will try the vitamins. That’s all I could think. Super weird. But her leg is also injured…. 🙁

She’s 4 weeks old. Pretty sure it’s a pullet.

Oh and chick poop is normal, eating and drinking fine. I’ll take some pics
Cute little thing.
If she's eating/drinking/pooping and active, I wouldn't worry too much.

I have no idea what's with the feathers, maybe something genetic. I don't know anything about genetics, but @The Moonshiner or @Overo Mare may have an idea (?)

Yeah I was thinking that too. Her bum leg is what worries me. I do think it’s some weird genetic thing. We will see I guess thanks for the advice ;)

They said turn off the lamp for the pic. not forever. Please be sure your chick has some heat.- oh sorry I didn't know it was 4 weeks old.
