My bantam hen recently had little chicks (like two days ago) and I went outside to today to check on them and realized one wasn’t there so I looked for it. I found it alone just quietly standing there but it’s eyes and ears were injured! I wondering what could’ve happened to it (I’m guessing some of my other chickens pecked it?) Anways I’m wondering what to do and if it will be able to see again or if it can still hear?

Oh, poor chick. Hard to know if the eye is intact or not. If you can get Terramycin eye ointment, you can clean the eye with saline and apply a dot of the ointment into the eye 2-3 times a day. For the ear, you can use plain Neosporin on the ear after cleaning with saline. Is the other eye opening? Do you have a brooder and heat lamp or other heat source? Is the broody hen up and about with the other chicks now? Cannyou show the chick where to find food and water? Moistened chick crumbles and a little egg plus water would be good. I would be tempted to put the chick back under the broody at night to sleep, and check on it in early morning at first light. You don’t want the hen to peck the chick any more so note how it looks. You also could treat the chick for a day or two, and then try to get it back under the hen at night. Let us know how it does.
