Baby Chick has Hard Poop, seems to Hurt when she poos

There's a trend of people giving all sorts of things to their chicks. A complete starter/grower ration is designed to supply all the basic nutrients chicks need. Yogurt, mealworms, cooked eggs supply too much extra protein on top of the 20%+ protein in the feed, and that will definitely block your chicks up. Cafarmgirl mentioned the Corid which should be kept on hand and used at the proper time. Do not use Corid if you are using medicated feed. Never use Sulmet (Sodium Sulfamethazine) on young chicks. Sulfadimethoxine is safer and equally effective. I won't even use Sulmet on adult birds. I hope all goes well with your chicks. Follow directions closely on any product you use, or feel free to ask. There are some knowledgeable people here.

I agree... I will get the corid, but I'm not completely sure that is the problem right now. Seeing improvement, going to wait and see how she's doing in the morning before giving her more meds.

Great News! The chicken seems to have perked up a lot over night. It's alert, walking around, eating a little bit and drinking. I am going to keep an eye on her, as I am not sure she is eating enough yet.
