Keep it as warm as you can. Is it breathing through it's mouth yet?

No she's breathing regular. Just seems to fall asleep standing up, and when I hold her. Isnt' active like the others. Right now she is snuggled up with the others under the heat lamp. They all seem to be napping.

Thanks a lot... I am giving her water w/ electrolytes every 30 - 40 minutes or so. Hoping maybe this is just a mineral deficiency and she'll spring back by tomorrow. If not I'm off to the farm supply to get corid.

Even if this one does show improvement by tomorrow you might consider buying some Corid anyway just to have on hand in your chicken medicine chest in the future. They always seem to come down with stuff when we can't get to the feed store! When they do have coccidiosis the sooner you can start treatment the better the odds of survival. It moves so fast, sometimes having to wait overnight until the stores open can mean the difference between life and death for chicks.

Hope she does ok.

The chick is perking up a little bit. I am wondering if maybe I caused this. I got some freeze dried meal worm treats and I think I may have given too much to the chicks to the point where they were not eating their medicated feed. I was putting the worms in yogurt to encourage the one with pasty butt to eat the yogurt to help with the problem, but I may have in advertantly caused an imbalance in this poor chicky. I am not giving any additional treats, no worms, eggs, etc., and giving fluids to the chick with electrolytes/ minerals in them hourly. I am praying she pulls through. I never thought I would get attached to these little babies so quickly. I would just die if something happened to her. I've named her "Henrietta". I noticed that although this little chicky has eaten very little today (she did eat a few crumbles recently), she did poop out undigested meal worms. So I'm hoping to keep fluids going and get more of that medicated feed in her. I don't think it's Mareks or parasites. Her eyes are clear. I am praying praying she pulls through.

Henrietta is actually in my profile pic with my daughter. She was so healthy and active when we got her on Friday.

There's a trend of people giving all sorts of things to their chicks. A complete starter/grower ration is designed to supply all the basic nutrients chicks need. Yogurt, mealworms, cooked eggs supply too much extra protein on top of the 20%+ protein in the feed, and that will definitely block your chicks up. Cafarmgirl mentioned the Corid which should be kept on hand and used at the proper time. Do not use Corid if you are using medicated feed. Never use Sulmet (Sodium Sulfamethazine) on young chicks. Sulfadimethoxine is safer and equally effective. I won't even use Sulmet on adult birds. I hope all goes well with your chicks. Follow directions closely on any product you use, or feel free to ask. There are some knowledgeable people here.
