Baby chick help

I am thinking this may be my best option. I just wanted to start from beginning. I do have a "guest room" I could put them in. The hubby is worried about a smell but if I keep it clean that shouldn't be a huge problem would it

The problem is going to be the dust. They cause alot of dust.

This is what I feared!
I hope it's not too late to return this coop. You will never be able to house 6-8 chickens in it. You'll be lucky to successfully house 3 without behavioral issues.
Pre-fab coops like this are notorious for grossly overstating the number of birds they can house.
My suggestion, and you probably won't like it, is to hit the brakes on getting chicks. Return the coop. Visit the learning center here and find out what you actually need to be successful in raising your flock. We all want you and your flock to be happy.

I had no idea they could create so much dust... and it gets EVERYWHERE! But they don’t really smell of you can keep it clean regularly

If you have to keep the coop, do go with only 4 chicks. Those just are not big enough for 6-8 full grown birds. It will seem big with chicks, but they really grow a lot.

There are years to do this hobby, if you can get pullets, then they can go directly out side, and you can have some time to decide how to do the broody thing.
