Baby Chick is dying!! I need help!!

Alright, I put the Neosporin on, I’m going to try getting her to drink some sugar water now.

Anything change?? Honestly I'd just leave her alone for 10-20 minutes and see how she does... Probably too stressed and tired to drink, just needs to adjust.

She’s opening her eyes more, and she is doing okay. She’s not even a day old yet, so I don’t expect her to be super active or anything. She drank a bit of sugar water and she is being held under the heat right now. We are going to try to get her to eat some egg yolk so that she has something in her system. Oh, also, she is a bantam, in case anyone was wondering why she is so small.

Oh my word, great job staying faithful to this little baby! I honestly would have culled right away by how that photo looked but I'm so happy she is alive!

Poor thing!! but I've seen them recover from worse! They are tough!! Definitely try to keep the wound moisture with neosporin so it heals from the inside out.

Should I treat for shock??

I would absolutely treat for shock, vetrycin plus is amazing to use on open wounds, I also find it speeds up healing. Paying for ur baby
