Baby Chick Panting!! HELP!!

Temperature with Chicks needs to be precise ...not about 96? Or about 93....The first week it needs to be 95 at chick height in the brooder with and area no colder than 85 so they can regulate the heat.....You drop the temp once a week till they are at room temp and ready to go outside and begin the life of a Chicken...:)

The reason I say "about" is because the thermometer is small and I can't tell exactly what it is at. It is between the 99 and the 95 mark which is what the harchery recommended. It is not just going up and down and sometimes more or less. It is staying the same temp. Thanks though! :)

If it's that high it is too warm....If the Chicks are running around peeping happily and eating and drinking its good...If huddled up and peeping? It's too cold....;).....Play around with it till they are content and just happy...:)
