We got a couple new chicks the other day, and I’ve noticed that one of them is constantly pecking at the downy on the others. It doesn’t seem to be doing it in an aggressive way, but I can’t quite tell. We haven’t raised babies in a while, so I’m coming here for advice. I’m not quite sure if this is a problem since it doesn’t seem aggressive, but I will try to attach a video and you can tell me what you think.

not sure if I did it right, but…

Chicks peck. It's nature.

I clicked on your link, but it would require me to download, which I didn't want to do. But I can see they are different colored. Is the dark pecking on the light? Or other way around?. There is some truth to "birds of a feather flock together." Some chicks just peck on what looks different.

If it becomes a problem, you'll have to separate the offender.

Thank you!! It’s the dark one who’s been pecking. Sorry about the video- I’m still figuring out how to work stuff on here
