Didn't get any pics today, but I had the babies outside again and brought two of the 8 week olds out front with them. After a bit the two older ones decided I was a nice roost. The Sebright laid down on my lap and the OEGB cockerel laid down on my shoulder up against my neck. Told them I wasn't a perch, but they didn't listen...

The one SLW baby was being a turd and kept pecking and pulling on the OEGB's comb because it's so big and red.

Definitely barred rock.  She's home-grown, and we don't have any dominiques that could have contributed to her genetics.  The small comb is just because she's a baby yet.

Now, she may not be purebred barred rock, but at least ONE of her parents was one! lol

Lol sorry I guess where the come looked small it looked different. Don't you hate it one day they're just little peepers and the next thing you know they're grown? Makes me sad. I wish they could stay little. Yet I also like watching them grow and learn how to be chickens.
