lol did they grow lots overnight? pls keep updates with pictures i'd love to see a documented graphic pictures of their growth rates... I wonder if the different hatchery cornish cross perform differently and how that is expressed......

No they're the same size pretty much lol the cornish are almost a week older than the reds

I've noticed that they are SUPER timid. This one is the smaller of the two I have and I got them both as day old chicks.

I'm debating making them a separate brooder because the size gap between them and the full size chicks is starting to get so dramatic

Yeah, but they come around. My little silkie is fat and fluffy and doesn't mind sitting down for a good neck massage.

Well, if the big one starts getting aggressive with the silkie, I'd recommend getting more silkies for that silkie and seperating them. But it's not a good idea to keep a tiny chick away from body heat of others, she'd probably pass away without company.

I have two silkies ....and then a wyandotte, cochin, & an orpington all 2 weeks

The bigger chicks aren't aggressive at all... something they just accidentally step on the silkies

The one gal is just my runt. She's still eating, drinking, active - I just keep an extra eye on her

Well, she may just have a deformaty, though she seems perfectly fine, I don't think you'll have a problem:)
