Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

I hatched a few. My Buff Liza hatched the remaining to total 17 chicks. Today is the first day she took them out of the coop.
I just love watching babies explore. 7 RIR's and 10 Buff's.

My 4 week old flock. They are all girls. I bought them from a woman who accidentally ordered twice as many as she wanted from My Pet Chicken. Love them all to pieces already! This is my first flock and I never knew that chickens could have so many different personalities!

Rocky (the gray one) and Miracle as babies. They both grew up to be beautiful females and Rocky sepecially is very attached to me. She thinkgs Im her roo, bowing for me. Miraclel came from a mother who I saved as a chick. She was to badly pecked by someone in the coop that I didnt even think she would live. Today she thrives with a brood of chicks. She has a crooked neck that will not improve but she manages just fine.

You can see her crooked neck as she broods her babies. Miracle truly is a miracle baby.

I just wanted to share my success story so folks know to not give up on the most injured babies. The younger they are the more resiliant they are and the higher the success possibility.
