This is my 8 week old peep and next post is her sister peepers who is 5 weeks old.

I just received them yesterday in the mail. They had a long trip from Illinois to California. Thank God they made it healthy and safe. I'm having so much fun with them and my silkie hen just adores them! She took to them right away and just loves them. She's such a good mom. They follow her everywhere and she purrs to them!! Silkies are so sweet. hope you like the pics.

Purchased her straight run back in April. She was guessed by other members to be a silver laced cochin bantam, but she lays white eggs. From day one she follows me around all the time, total sweety.

this is her adult stage.

Got my 25 Barred Rock Pullet chicks yesterday (nice Halloween treat) from Ideal Hatchery. Love their specials!. They were hatched October 29, 2013. Sweet pretty babies.

I love the pics. I so badly want chicks. I just know that one day, I will have them. Hopefully sooner than later!

I need to stop drooling at everyone's chicks. They are all so cute, and I want more babies underfoot. Winter here means I must wait until spring. It's killing me.

So excited my first chicks have hatched. Will leave them with their mama tonight then will be bringing them inside to keep them nice and warm untill they get big enough to go back out. Will get photos ASAP.
