Ten new baby chicks just arrived from My Pet Chicken! Looks like a blue cochin. Part of a rare pullet assortment. My new black ameraucana roo. His name shall be Drogo. The blue Ameraucana roo. I know which character I want to name him after, but don't know the name off the top of my head. Two Jersey Giant pullets I LOVE Polish crested, so I was thrilled to see two fluffy heads when I opened the box. Pullets from a rare breed assortment! Two more pullets from my rare breed assortment. I have a hunch what they are, but want to look them up to verify first. And here is the jewel of our brood! This is Geisha, our white silkie pullet!

I took more photos of my new babies. I need to go surfing the flea markets in town to pick up some nice props.
These are the raw photos. I haven't edited out the food crumbs I used to bribe them or cropped them to eliminate the edge of the set yet.









I would be interested in hearing suggests on the breed for this one. I ordered them from MPC, so I've narrowed it down to either an exchequer leghorn or an ancona.

Got my ten little barred rocks this morning from My Pet Chicken. It was a little pricey but I paid the express cost and I got an email that they shipped yesterday. They went from Ohio to Tennessee overnight and arrived safe and full of energy.
