The chicks are sunbathing, perfectly normal. I've never had a cockerel try to crow before 4 months old, but that's just my experience.

My barred rock hatched 5 of these cuties today in our hay shed and the daddy is a light barama. You can kind of see the feet feathers.

So cute! Such a surprise.
