Every time I take them out they love to play in this same spot! Silly girls!

Kona chicks- when I went to Kawaii I saw the chickens. In Koloa They were running about and one mom and baby came up and the mom wanted food for her chick. The hen said "Hey you, my chick is hungry!" and the chick said "yah!" I gave them peanuts. I also saw a mom and her babies scratching by the side of the road and cars going by I got scared and some lady walking by said "what are you worried about they are only chickens." Later we drove to Anahola, and I saw a chicken that walked backwards.

Haha yes Kauai has TONSSSS!! Because they have no mongoose to attack the babies. We also have a lot that cruise the roadside up here in Holualoa (mountain 10 min above Kona town). I lived in Koloa as a teen for a few months and man the chicken alarm clocks were insane! It was impossible to sleep in after 5 am with that many crowing chickens lol

A roo with two ladies and a BUNCH of babies!!

I guess it was on the broody thread where I expressed concern this morning, but my hen finally got off the nest today and took the babies for a walk in the barn. She's being such a good momma.
