Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

I'm just about to start free ranging and feel your fear! I'm going to part-time range where you just let them out for a couple hours before sundown, like after work Etc. I think they are so much happier then. It's how my neighbor's do it. Hawks could still be an issue, but I thinks it's worth it. I'll probably hangout with mine for the first few times.

Well keep me posted on how your free ranging goes. I'll be anxious to hear. How old are yours?

Can you not post pictures on an iPad? I just downloaded the Ap and still don't see a way. Searching "download picture" didn't enlighten me either. Nor could I delete this post. Sorry you had to read this

Mine are 13 weeks, pretty big girls, but I then added 3 more who are 7 weeks. I'm going to use the start of free ranging the older ones to integrate the littles. I'm going to let them have the coop while the bigs go out. They've been living in a cardboard and chicken wire cage in the run so they could all see each other. I'll probably do it this week, so I'll let you know. I also have a 6' fenced in yard, so that makes me feel somewhat safe.
