Hello everyone!
My Plymouth Rock hen, a 1st time momma, just hactched one egg, a pretty little blonde chick that seemed healthy until today, I noticed a small bump near the left eye, it didn't seem to hurt when i touched it.
This afternoon the baby chick wandered out of the coop where momma was, it was a good thing that I saw her because I have four kittens also roaming the area, when I picked the chick up I saw the bump.
Is there something I can do at home? what's wrong with the little nugget? I don't trust my vet for my chicken needs.
