It sounds like it's infected and you need to use an antibiotic.
When we had one with an eye injury we used Amoxicillin and it seems to have worked well as the chick completely

Ok. Good to know. Is there no hope? The eyeball is necrotic/dead tissue. There's no saving that eye.
Crops enlarge when food is given, I don't think they can just swell.
The dead eye may just shrivel up, & fall out. Chickens can live with one eye.Ok. Good to know. Is there no hope?

Amazing. The crop is still enlarged this morning and I fed her last night. Could it be impacted? She now won’t eat anything. The dead eye may just shrivel up, & fall out. Chickens can live with one eye.
im sorryShe now seems to have a swollen crop which I attempted to show in the last pic- I noticed it last night after giving her some egg yolk and electrolytes (hence the yellow mess). This pic was taken in the am before I even tried to feed her. Seems to be a lot of problems not just the eye.
i have a rooster that had an eye blister/swelling and he had lost all vision and he still has a very hard time seeing out of the eye unless I'm really close , but he lives happilyOk. Good to know. Is there no hope?
Thanksim sorry
