I have 3/4 day old chicks and my barred rock’s crop seems enormous! This morning it seemed to have gone down a bit but it’s still pretty large. Can they have crop problems this young? Or is she just a little piggy? I have offered chick grit just incase. Any advice is appreciated!

How are you brooding your chicks?

If they have a light on 24/7 it's harder to gauge crop function since they eat at all hours.
It's not unusual for chicks to have a full crop like that. As long as you see her being active, eating/drinking, pooping then I would not worry. If she is sluggish/slow and seems off, then investigate further.

I am using the eco glow so they don’t have a light on all day. She is pooping and active. It seem to go down a bit during the afternoon. She is at the food dish all the time.

I assume with the eco glow they sleep all night in the dark so they are not getting up and eating/drinking during the night. Check her when she settles for the night, the crop should be full. Check her again first thing in the morning, the crop should be empty or flat.
