Oops I just saw she is a frizzle. Where did you get your eggs? The problem with frizzles is that if you breed frizzle to frizzle you end up with defects and immunity issues. Therefore you HAVE to breed frizzle to non-frizzle. i.e. Cochins- there are frizzle and normal so if you are raising frizzles then you probably either want all hens frizzled or just the roo frizzled. Then you don't have to worry about the frizzles breeding and causing major defects. So then you would only keep just frizzled hens or frizzled Roos for that pen.
But as it says in the APA standard of perfection any breed and variety of chicken can come in a frizzle. So it is hard to say what kind of frizzle you got.
