Baby Chicken having a hard time walking

Hey, I am new here. I just got some baby chicks about 5 days a go. They where all a live when I got them. But we had to seprate the Rooster because he was having a hard time walking:(. His inward facing toe is short and kind of bent, I will try to post pictures later.

You can make it a little card board shoe and then tape the toes in the right postion. I used the white sports tape you get at the drug store for mine. Leave it on for a week and see how it goes. Good Luck
 
Thanks for the quick reply, thats what I was thinking about doing. Whould it be a good idea to still keep him seprated from the other chicks.
 
I left mine in with the others and it did fine. Unless they pick at it I'd just leave it with the other chicks and see how it goes.
 
When he was in with the others they kept sitting on him and pecking him. We changed the white light to red because we herd that the white ones makes them peck each other.
