Still 250 till they can be lowered too a 175....I run heat for my Broody right now so my Chicks do not suffer during the time out from under her....Common sense and watch how your chicks are moving around during the day will be an indication on what temp they need...If happily peeping and running around? Your good.........If standing or huddled? Cold and temp need to be higher...

You raise yours the way you want----I for sure do not need any help with mine from no one, But I am going to do my best to help these people with 250 watt bulbs shinning down in a 18 gallon plastic tote---to explain they are not needed. Just trying to save some chicks.I do NOT need help raising Chicks....I have zero issues.....;......I am answering the thread starter....You need help? PM me?...Glad too help..
