Baby chicks hatching and it’s cold out!

I think it’s safe to say I am alittle further north than you are. I have a Broody sitting on 6 eggs due to hatch Nov. 8 and they will be remaining in the coop with the rest of the flock temps likely to be 30-60 range.

They will be fine with momma, my hen that hatched out late last year stayed with them, she did take over the dog igloo though with the dog bed in it and we were hitting -20 to negative 30 with in a few days of them hatching. She stayed with them longer but started laying again as the chicks thought snow was evil lol.
