Baby chicks! What did you get this year/hatching?

Ordering new chicks is such a fun time! Many new and experienced keepers get chick fever come spring time, and it definitely hit me again haha 🐥 What breeds did you all order this year or what are you planning on hatching? Send in some pictures when your chicks arrive as well, we all love seeing the cute little fluffs!
Mine are ready to be picked up in April/May! I chose a local place called Hilltop Farms! I ordered 8 chicks to add to my current flock of 13, hopefully all correctly sexed pullets. The breeds I chose this year are; 2 Olive Eggers, 2 Russian Orloffs, 1 Mottled Java, 1 Salmon Faverolles (I have one already and love her so much that I want another one!), 1 b/b/s Ameraucana (hoping to request a blue or black since I have a splash gal already), and 1 lavender Ameraucana. I’ll post some pictures of them on this thread once I pick them up in April/May!
I'm just starting out, so what do I know? However, before getting my chicks, since I only have a few, personally, I'd like to see them before getting them. Perhaps, when I'm more experienced, I'll have more confidence in buying or ordering them from a hatchery, don't know. I don't not like what Tractor Supply did with the bad feed or the woke drag queen parade sponsoring, but it seems like there's one on every corner out here, so I did break down, and buy from them. The lady there seemed to know quite a bit about these beautiful, little creatures. I know one thing, at least...I'm never going to eat chicken again! Now, I have 2 one week old "Easter Eggers," and 2 Barred Rock chicks. They're already starting to fly around! They've started developing tails within the last two days!

Picked up 4...yes 4 new incubators 3 small ones that hold 9 and nurture right 22 capacity....sooooo
I have 9 mottled cochin bantams in the 2 small bators & 12 silver laced Wyandottes going into the big bator.
Okay..fingers crossed I win an auction for 8 crested cream brabantors :wee
WOW! That's just about all I can say... you're really going to have your hands full, or should I say nest?

The only 2 / out of 6 to hatch.
And my heart is full...:love

Hatched out these two adorable Showgirl chicks 2/26. Out of 10 eggs these made it.
Now I have a dozen more in the incubator. My flock consists of Silkie, showgirl, frizzle and satin feathered Silkies. Covered by a satin Paint Silkie Roo.
This is my first year breeding and my first hatch. Can’t wait to see what colors/combos we get. ❤️🐣

3-Moss Eggers
2-French Black Copper Marans
2-Alchemist Blue
4-Azure Eggers

They’re almost 5 weeks old & they’re on their second day field trip to their coop!

Was feeding them some black soldier fly larvae I had frozen for them, from a prior harvest.
They’re REALLY loving the fresh ones I’ve been throwing in there! One of the Azure Egger chicks was shocked that her food was moving! 😂
