Baby chicks! What did you get this year/hatching?

Six years ago, I moved and had to give away my girls.
Now I have the green light for a new flock! Plus we have two boys now which means a bigger flock.
Mine will hatch about April 24th. First time for me to do chicks. I've always got started pullets.

3 Welsh Harlequins on March 27, and the week old chicks we have left are 3 silkies, an EE, 2 BOs, and what was supposed to be a BO but has feather legs so probably a mix.

I'm getting back into chickens after a 30 year hiatus. I want bantams again, and I don't want feathered legged breeds, so my options have been limited. I found a hatchery about 40 miles away that has Speckled Sussex bantams. They hatched a bunch yesterday, and I asked for up to 12. They're SR, but am hoping to get at least 6-8 pullets. I'm tentatively picking them up on Thursday!

Right now 5 Blk Aus with 4 more coming mid Mar. Supposed to get a doz Lavender Orpington eggs tomorrow, but the person has to make sure that the person they gave them to is segregating them from their other chickens. As it is only February I still have 10 months, probably better to chk back Dec 31.

Picked up 4...yes 4 new incubators 3 small ones that hold 9 and nurture right 22 capacity....sooooo
I have 9 mottled cochin bantams in the 2 small bators & 12 silver laced Wyandottes going into the big bator.
Okay..fingers crossed I win an auction for 8 crested cream brabantors
