Start at 95 F and go down 5 degrees a week, and once your down to 75-ish F you can start turning out the lamp in daylight hours and leaving it on at night. Usually at 6 weeks old they will be ready for the coop. If it's chilly were you live (shouldn't be in late may!), even once they are in the coop you may want to keep the lamp in there for another week or two so it won't be such a sudden change on them. -Becca
