I HAVE SEVERAL BABY CHICKS RIGHT NOW IS IT BETTER TO USE THE RED HEAT BULB SOMEONE TOLD ME TO JUST WONDERING.

either one works, the red is to help prevent pecking.
YES ITS BETTER TO USE THE RED HEAT BULB BECAUSE REGULAR WHITE BULBS CAN CAUSE PECKING AND BULLYING.
