Baby coturnix with hip issue

Hi all,

I am in the middle of a pretty good hatch. One of my babies seems to have something wrong with its hip. It won't stand up and usually sits with the leg sticking straight out in front of it. The hips look abnormal as well. It seems to otherwise be active and alert, and it can scoot to get water and food.

Is there anything I can do about this? If not, should I just cull it? I would like to at least get it to 6 weeks if at all possible.

If he was born like that they usually get better them self, but if it has split them on a slippery surface try that.

I had two like that, and one was weak didn't make it but one is still alive and he gets around just fine.

Thanks, I will have to try this. It seems perfectly happy aside from the fact that it can't walk, so I would hate to just cull it.
