She seems happy. I went on duck dmv. Yikes, they had swollen head hemorrhagic fever when I put her symptoms in.

They are very good at hiding how they feel. Keep an eye on how much she is pooping and how it looks. Just like a human baby, poop tells all!

Poop looks good. Everything is normal except her Big water head.

If you want to use the amoxicillin:
Take one 500 mg amoxicillin capsule, grind it really well. Add 10 ml of water to powder, stir well, then give 0.125 ml twice a day.

I even hate to take antibiotics myself. Kills the bacteria in the gut. You could also give the chicks something like Sav-a-chick from tractor supply. I got GroGel with the new chicks from Ideal and it has electrolytes and pro-biotics to help new chicks. Supplementing with something like this might be of help. Hoping your duckling gets better, you are working as much as any one could to help!

I do have some grow gel powder. I thought I would offer her some yogurt as well. Just looked at her now and it's already growing again. Don't know how successful I'll be getting the antibiotics down her but I will give it a try in the morning. She's such a sweet little thing.
