Baby Duckling Breeds

I bought 8 ducklings from the assorted lot and I'm curious what exactly they all all. I'm pretty sure the HUGE yellow white one is a Pekin. The black ones maybe runners? But the two grays and brown red one I have no idea. They're about 7-8 weeks?

Warning: they are super dirty because they make a huge mess with their food and get it on each other and pool is messy for same reason.

The one front and center in the second picture seems like a Welsh Harlequin. I think one of the grey ones with a white bib might be a blue sweetish.

I have no clue but they sure are pretty. I don't see any runners but I can't really see the black ones standing by themselves

If I remember my Welshies had light heads if they were girls at this age and the boys already had started showing darker heads.

That’s very possible on those. All their postures in the photos are certainly able to point to that.

I heard of blue swedish and I think eh two gray ones might both be that. Welsh harlequin I just looked up and wow!! That speckled one looks alot like them thanks for mentioned them!

I was wondering that but when can you tell?? I thought they were runners but looking at them they don't stand up like our old ones didn't they can stand up like runners but so can all the other ones but they don't run like them

I’m not really sure, but just from the second picture the bill and head don’t look like the pics I’ve seen of call ducks...don’t call ducks have a shorter bill than regular ducks?

The blacks are definitely Cayuga. The grays are definitely Blue Swedish. The white/yellow is most likely a moulting Pekin. I'm not familiar with the tan one. I breed Cayugas, Rouens, Blue Swedish, and am currently hatching my first Anconas.
