Baby duckling

Hi this baby was just born. Our very 1st time hatching duckling. It was born with some stuff hanging out. Can anyone help?

It is still alive. Whatever is hanging from it is still there. It seems active and peeps. I just feel helpless in how to help it or if there is anything I should be doing.

Awww! I’m so sorry! Did he make it or how is he doing? I just lost a baby trying to help him out! He was just too weak. I hope your baby can recover!

Our duckling is still alive. And it acts fine. Still has the "stuff" hanging from its abdomen. But its drying up. We moved it from the incubator to the heat lamp.
