Baby ducks with Hens

I have 7 hens and am thinking about getting 2 baby ducks and allowing them to be with the hens until summer. The hens are very easy going I am just wondering if they will hurt them

My chicks abused my duckling! I wouldnt do it. Set them up their own area.

Yes, my chicks killed several ducks, mamed a couple and I got one out alive. This was all in a couple hours. When I put them in there they all were nice and sweet, when I turned my back they put the smack down on them.

I housed my ducks with my Chickens, and no problems. When the ducks were younger, I made a seperate area in the coop, till they were old enough to take care of themselves, which didnt take very long since they grow so darn fast!

Thanks I was not sure. I have several baby chicks with thier momas but was not sure about introducing ducks. You are right they can change moods in a blink of an eye.

I keep everything separate. No mixing of the fowl.
