Baby Frizzles...

I have a baby frizzle and I have a couple of questions about them the first is how water/weather proof are their feathers when full grown or do they have special needs and requirements and generally how is their healthy/temperment

I am not sure, but I know that there are a lot of frizzles lovers on here, so I am sure that someone will see this and answer you.

I've had a few frizzle owners tell me they just need to double check for mites otherwise the feathers are just as clean and water repellant as other chickens. My own chicks have had no extra problems.

My frizzle roo seems to be fine in our cooler, (and quite wet) weather. It has been 40 at night, and 30 tonight, and he seems fine. I also have a baby frizzle under her mom--it is 36 right now. I too would appreciate advise from those who know over time.
