Baby Girl Name Help

I didn't take time to read through this whole thread, so I'm not certain if you have come up with a name or not, but I wanted to throw this one out there for you.

When I had my little girl (5 years ago tomorrow <<Sniff, Sniff>>), I wanted to name her McKenna. I loved the name and my heart was set on it until my mother threw such a fit that we decided to change it to Madison. I still like McKenna though. You don't hear that one everyday.

I love Isabella - Merideth, Catherine, Sara-Grace, Caroline, Whitney......

I love, love the name Naomi! Very classic & can be perfect for when she is older as well. Abigail is super-common where I live, it seems there are Abbys everywhere. My mom wanted me to name my daughter Isabel and call her "Izzy" ...too much Grey's Anatomy

And if you want the middle name Rose, I think coupled with the name Violet is well...kind of like a bouquet?!?

My daughter ended up with "Claire" but I really wanted her to be "Piper" oh well...now one of my chickens is a Piper!

Good Luck and keep us posted

We named our first daughter Genevieve after my husband's grandmother. Their birthdays were just three days shy of being exactly 90 years apart.
His grandmother's full name was (she passed away last year) Genevieve Rosalie, so our daughters are Genevieve Lynne (lovely Celtic woman) and Katherine Rosalie (pure little rose). Our third child, a boy, is Jacob Michael because his father and grandfather all have the same initials, JMW. We have a second boy's name picked out too! William Christopher (resolute bearer of Christ), after my father and my husband's brother.
I like Naomi as a girl's name, BTW.

On another note, our first chicks will be be arriving this week and their names will be-

Buff Orpington rooster- Big Ben
Hens-
Little
Salad Sandwich

Red stars:
Sweet
Sour

Easter Eggers:
Noodle Soup
Pot Pie

Wyandotte rooster- Gentleman Jack
Hen-Lucy

Here's a cool link ... the social security administration tracks the popularity of baby names by year.

http://www.socialsecurity.gov/OACT/babynames/

Great to look for "older" names like the OP was seeking, but also good to check and make sure that "older" name isn't suddenly the most popular ... there will probably be about five kids named "Emma" in your kid's kindergarten class in about 5 years. Want your kid to be "Emma #6" in her class?

Thanks everyone.

These are just great. I like most of them, but some end in A and others remind me of people or kids and you know how that is.

Some of my favorites are
still....
Isabel
Abigail (I do think it is pretty common though, and don't like that.)
Naomi
and now......
Caroline
Felicity
Lillian
Avery

Also, I love the link to the old names, SweetWater. There were some awsome ones on there.

Isabel and Naomi are still favorites though. I don't think we will go with Abigail because of it's popularity and we are pretty set on Rose for a middle name.

That is one of the weirdest coincidences ever.

You could do Niomi (said ny-oh-me instead of nay-oh-me). It's how my name was supposed to be spelled and everyone calls me it anyway.

Why do you not want to keep them all similar, since your first two daughters names end in an "a"? I think it's sweet, kind of like it links them all together in a small way.

Well here are my kids names, sorry they end in a's, lol.

Bryana Hope
Alexa Rhea
Isabella Rain
