I use human fast flow #3. Yes, you can get away with every other day, my problem is if I skip a day, I sometimes forget to give it on the day it is due, so I dose daily.

At 1:00 little Zelda seems a tad stronger, but still didn't have much interest in nursing. She latched on for a second, but didn't stay on. Since I don't have a suitable bottle yet, I tube fed her and she was strong enough to holler loudly at me in protest.

Got mama milked out and comfortable again, and afterward she licked her babies. I sure wish she'd let them nurse without my intervention.

She's nursing! Hooray!! She nursed a little better at 6:00p and seemed very interested, then nursed really well at midnight and again at 6:00a. The LA200 seems to be doing the trick.

BTW, the infant ear thermometers work really well on baby goats.
