We had a hen go broody but I had no place to put her away from the other girls. There was one other hen who would kick her out of the nest every day to lay her egg. So instead of setting eggs under her I let her sit golf balls taking the eggs every day. She was so devoted to her golf balls that at the end of the three weeks it would have taken eggs to hatch, I exchanged the golf balls for baby chicks I bought at the feed store. She's such a good mamma!
