Baby has crusty skin

I have a chick who is crusty all over her belly and chest. What's up and what can I do?

If its just a day or a few days old, it could be left over 'hatching goop' kinda like dried egg white? If so just rinse your chick in warm water (I just let the faucet water run on mine). Make sure you dry her really good and keep her warm until she is completely dry. Or, you don't have to do anything; it'll eventually flake off. One of mine had a wing stuck to its body and it bothered me probably more than my chick!
