Mahonri, we have to educate these easterners.... See, our blood is thinner from the 120+ temps in July & August. So temps in the 30's for us would be like -0 for anyone else. Y'all are what we call "Snow Birds"! Shame on ya for commin here and swimmin at the Biltmore for Christmas!

I was at the Biltmore for a wedding yesterday and it looked COLD... but the sunshine was nice.

My best friend growing up lives in Phoenix. She has tried for years to get me to move there. Too urban for me and waaaaaaaaaay too hot. I have visited many times and once did a drive from Michigan (where I am from) to AZ and into Mehico to go camping all over tarnation. Once I made it to AZ all of my plastic camping gear melted in my car, my coolers, tarps, etc. I knew then Arizona did not like me!

Mahonri, do you have a bottle return law there yet? Seemed like the desert glittered in broken glass. So sad as it really is a beautiful place. I love your botanical gardens.
