Me too..I sure miss my hatching days. Did it for years, then when my husband got I'll, had to take care of him. Now he's passed, I thought about getting at least a couple of hens, but probably won't. Today’s update:

We threw out two of Baby Midget’s empty eggs tonight. We are going to gradually remove the ones that haven’t developed any. She could definitely tell that something was different, but she didn’t throw too much of a fit.

It’s alright! I kinda knew that most of them wouldn’t hatch because they are eggs from my bantams, and they hardly get mated by Blue. I’m just glad that she will have some babies!

Update:

Here is the broody mama on her break-

We have been candling her eggs every night, and they are looking great! All three of the babies are very wild and like to squirm inside their eggs. Only (just over) a week left!!
