I just received a shipment of baby peafowl from cackle hatchery, and one of the little chicks appears to have a broken toe or hurt toe. It doesn’t bend properly and just remains curled in when it walks on it. What should I do?

My wife and I are pros at fixing toes and slipped tendons but if you don't catch it soon enough the fix won't stay. Candy worked with this girl for three weeks and the toes would not stay straight. Lucky it is a hen so she will be able to breed and reproduce, if it were a cock he probably would not breed or rarely get the job done. Cocks need toes to keep balance on the hens' back.
