Baby quail chick can’t stand up!

Unfortunately another baby (#2) passed during the night. He had spraddle leg. Now I only have one baby.. but he’s screaming for his brothers. What should I do? My Quails aren’t laying yet so I can’t hatch another. And I don’t know anyone around that has Quails... any ideas? :(

Oh no :(
If you can't get baby some quail friends, maybe bantam chicks would work? I don't know anything about raising quail and chickens together, so that might not work

Oh, no!!! I'm so sorry... I agree with BoyTheRooster - think maybe a bantam would work though I also have no experience with that. @QuailExpert ?
What about a little stuffed animal to make due for now?

What are the conditions you have (had) them in? Temp of the brooder? What are you using as a heat source? Did they hatch early or late?
You don't want to mix quail chicks with chicken chicks, they will trample the quail chicks and could introduce disease to the quail. A mirror or stuff animal will help relive some of the calling for other chicks.

Temp directly under the heat lamp was about 90-95 f. I used a heat lamp. They hatched day 17 ( Quails take 16-18 days ). And they weren’t mixed with chickens. And they last baby died this afternoon.

Sorry about your losses. Well, they hatched early but that would depend on how you counted the days, ie; day 1 as 0 or day 1 as 1. Temps in the brooder were ok, sometimes when they hatch early they just are too weak to survive. Hatching is a energy consuming process. That's why sometimes they rest for long periods of time while hatching. Early hatches usually occur due to incubation temperature is higher than the 99.5°F for forced air incubators or 101 - 103 for still air incubators. 104°F will kill the embryos, so it didn't get that high.
I had 16 Amherst pheasants that hatched on time and all died minutes after hatching, never did figure out why they died. Just chalked it up as "a failure to thrive" case.
If you choose to hatch another bunch, I recommend you get some Nutri - Drench. Most feed stores and TSC carry it. It's saved many of my newly hatched chicks.
It has vitamins and electrolytes that help a struggling chick. It can be administered full strength or diluted with water. I use it for a week or two in their water. If one is struggling, I will give it full strength several drops per hour with a small syringe. Put a drop on it's beak and it will take it in. I then "wash it down" with plain water to get rid of the after taste...I don't know how bad it tastes, but the chicks usually balk when administering the solution.
Again, sorry for your loss:hugs and I don't have a definite answer for what caused it to happen. :idunno

thats awful. my condolences. how many eggs did you attempt to hatch? eggs can be saved for up to a week so the more you save the better chance you have. maybe do some research before you hatch and make sure everything is correct. what time of year are you hatching ? i found that most things go wrong in the late summer through winter. hatching is difficult and hope you have a successful batch. these things happen but i found doing lots of research can help. And how good is your incubator? have you had difficulties before with it ?

My baby button quail dont seem to be eating or drinking and when they were 1st born, they could walk fine. But now they flip themselves over and dont seem to have any coordination. Im afraid Im going to lose all 3.
