It depends on your broody and your rooster. A good broody will protect her chicks from any threat.
I've had broodies get separated from their chicks. She goes out of a gate and make a hard turn. Some chicks don't make it out of the gate and follow after her but still inside the fence. Mama stands and squawks at them. The chicks stand and peep at Mama. None of them know to go back to the gate. I've had roosters that go over and set down next to the chicks to watch over them until Mama can figure it out.
A good rooster will protect all members of his flock. Not all roosters are good. I have no doubt that some would be a danger to young chicks. Mine protect young chicks.
I cannot tell you what will happen to yours. I will tell you that I consider the other hens more of a danger than my roosters, but I've never had a rooster or hen kill a chick. Some people have.
I'm on my fifth batch of broody hatched chicks. Not exactly a lot of experience, but there has always been at least one roo in the flock, and he either ignored them or helped protect them. Good luck.
