I'm crushed, my smallest Serama chick disappeared from my brooder, a clear plastic bin with a screen on top. Could a rodent have raised the screen and taken the little chick? I didn't hear anything but I've been outside almost all day. The other chicks are fine with no sign of injury. I feel so sad.

Was there any type of closure or was the screen weighted? If the screen was just resting on top, then, sad to say, it is possible.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

I had two clamps but I think one of them was loose because I use that side to reach in and change the water. I feel awful. It was such a cute little baby.

I had two losses yesterday see article I just posted... I have a unrelated question about seramas...sorry for ur loss! I have been given a serama bantam roo. My flock bullied him so he's in my house. He started in my kitchen now he freaks when I leave the room or house and follows me everywhere even to the bathroom couch or bed and sleeps on my chest every nogjt! Is this normal for a serama or a chicken to act...he's my dog lol
