Baby Turkey Turkeys

Anyone know what type or color these poults might be when they are grown? They're about a week old now.

Look bourbon red, potentially mixes.

The lighter colored one looks bourbon red to me. The darker one looks like a bronze or a mix. So hard to tell at this age though!

They're getting bigger and ornerier! I think they might both be toms. They hatched October 11th. Every once in a while I see them both strutting their stuff. Do both boys and girls do the strutting with the wings dropped at this age?

And if they are both toms... can I keep two toms or will I have to rehome one? I don't have any other turkeys atm but I do have chickens. And they're on 6+ acres of land.

They need more room if they are getting ornery. Turkey poults are pretty busy at that age and need to run. That pen is too small.

Only toms will display that young.

You will have to see how they get along when older, they may or may not be fine together.
